The NursingCAS Applicant Newsletter is a monthly newsletter intended to keep you informed about programs with available space, deadline extensions, and new programs added to NursingCAS. The newsletter will feature:
- Open Seats: One of the benefits of NursingCAS is to provide notifications to applicants about programs that have available space. Review the listing below to determine if you would like to apply to one of these programs.
- Deadline Extensions: Programs often extend their deadlines in order to allow applicants more time to complete the admissions process. Review the list below to see if any programs you are interested in have extended their deadline.

Seton Hall University is still accepting applications for its Accelerated Second Degree B.S.N. This 14-month program for students who already hold a non-nursing bachelor’s degree is held in two locations: Lakewood, N.J., (September start) and Nutley, N.J. (January start). Trine University Nursing program is specifically designed for working registered nurses. We are currently accepting applications for our fully accredited RN to BSN program.

The application deadline has been extended to July 1, 2022 for the Fall 2022 semester. Remember to report all attended institutions on your NursingCAS application and have official transcripts sent directly to NursingCAS. Important note: the admissions committee reviews applications on a rolling basis until the class is filled. Ursuline College is proud to announce a new track! The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will begin this fall!
Through the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) track, students will develop skills in the assessment and diagnosis of mental illness in the child, adolescent and adult populations. Emphasis is placed on the use of healing interaction in communication with individuals dealing with mental health disorders when initiating and evaluating treatment plans, understanding the major classes of psychotropic drugs and their indications for use in the treatment of various psychiatric disorders across the lifespan, and the professional roles and responsibilities of the advanced practice nurse.
